Motion and flow controlled discs are used to flow liquid and gas in automatic production lines mostly in cigarette production and packaging machines. It is not possible to use lubricants in their environments therefore self-lubricant graphite is used to remove this disadvantage. Made from carbon/graphite, ball valve discs are used for sealing in devices that control the flow of gas, steam or liquids which have a chemical contact with metals. Ball valve discs are especially used in petrochemical industry, refineries and vessels to keep them functional in case of a fire.
